Brenda Gayle Harris, age 52, of New Haven, went home to be
with the Lord on Sept. 21, 2015 after fighting a long and courageous battle
with cancer. She was born on June 7, 1963 to Mary Senior Harris of New Haven
and the late Joseph Harris Jr. She is survived by sisters; Denise, Mary,
Annette, Jeanette, Gina, Lucinda, Ruth, Brenda J., Khristian Smith, and
brothers; Joe, William, Ricky, Alan, Anthony, and step-brother David Galbreath
Jr. Predeceased by her brother Rodney D. Harris. She also leaves a host of
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on Saturday in
Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard St New Haven at 10 O’clock.
