 Antoine Omar Heath Sr., affectionately known as “Champ”, 29, of New Haven Ct. was called home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2015. Antoine graduated from Hill House High School in 2005. He was a proud Residential Supervisor at the Columbus House Shelter and was most recently employed with J. L. Marshall Construction. Antoine was the beloved husband of Shawnte Heath, 27, of New Haven, CT. He was born June 4, 1986 in Bridgeport, CT., to Jacqueline Heath and Anthony Cassells. Antoine is survived by his two children; daughter, Adrielle Heath, 4, and son, Antoine Heath Jr, 3. He leaves behind a brother, Robert Anderson Jr., two sisters, Alishia Davis, Christina Ramos and stepfather, Glidden Ramos. Antoine is also survived by his loving Aunt Charlene and cousin Dashonda Heath, along with a host of friends and family.
The funeral will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Varick Memorial AME Zion Church on 242 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT. The viewing will be held between the hours of 10-11 a.m.; Home going services will begin promptly after the viewing. His burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella T.
