Mary (Jones) Leake, age 81, of Hamden, entered into eternal
life on November 1, 2015. Born on March 3, 1934 in Camden, SC to the late Wally
Jones and Truesdale Jones. The beloved wife of the late Lester Leake. Cherished
mother of Lottie (Casey) Foreman of SC., Steve, Donald, James Sydnor Leake all
of Hamden. Loving grandmother of Caitlyn Bryant, James and Jayuan Hodge Sydnor
Leake. She really enjoyed cooking dinner for the family during the holiday’s. She
also loved taking rides with her late husband and family. Predeceased by one
son Eric Sydnor Leake.
A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Saturday Nov.
14, 2015 in Colonial, 86 Circular Ave. Hamden at 10am. Viewing in Colonial from
9-10am. Interment will be in the Leake family plot at Hamden Plains Cemetery.
