on June 10, 1959 in Harlem, NY to the late Henry and Mary Barnwell Gibbs. Cherished
father to Calvin (Samantha) Gibbs Jr. and LeQuella (Shadeed Health) Gibbs. Leaves
behind ex-wife Elaine Gibbs and fiancé Kimberly Guy. Also survived by granddaughter
Shadae Heath, a host of step children, and brothers. He was a welder for Avco of
Stratford.
Calvin’s funeral service will be held on Sat. Jan. 17, 2015 at 9 O’clock in Colonial 86
Circular Ave. Hamden. Viewing from 8-9a.m. at Colonial. Interment will follow in
Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
