Barry Nathaniel Hayes, age 65, of Hamden, entered into
eternal life on Saturday February 4, 2017. Born on July 18, 1951 in New Haven,
the son of the late Elmer and Cathryn (Tolson) Hayes. Cherished brother of
Curtis (Linda) Hayes Sr. of NC., and Roslyn Hayes of Hamden. Survived by nieces
Leslie Hayes, Allison Hayes both of NC, Tajhma Burroughs of Hamden; one nephew
Curtis (Veronica) Hayes, of NC. Also survived by 3 great nieces, 5 aunts, a
close cousin Linda Griffin of Hamden and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Barry’s life will be held on Thursday
February 9, 2017 at Varick Memorial AME Zion Church, 242 Dixwell Ave, New Haven
at 11 O’clock. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Interment will be held at Hamden
