Keyonia Chiquita Jenkins, age 29, of New Haven, passed away
tragically on May 19, 2016. She was born om August 19, 1986 in New Haven, the
beloved daughter of Sandra (Jenkins) Hobson. The cherished mother of Angelo
Rogers Jr. of New Haven. The loving sister of Kariari Jenkins of Boston,
Teyonia S. Jenkins, Rodney Carr Jr., Ray-quan Carr, and Johsondra Hobson all of
New Haven. Also survived by her maternal grandparents Peggy Jenkins and Preston
Leon Bell Sr. both of New Haven. Keyonia worked at Wal-Mart in New Haven for 2
years as a cashier. Also worked at Schick razor company for 3 years. Keyonia
really loved to dance, sing, work, and most of all being a mother taking care
of her son.
A Celebration of Keyonia’s Life will be held on Friday June
10, 2016 in Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard St., New Haven
at 11 O’clock. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Interment will be in Beaverdale
