Earnest Sam Belton, 73, of New Haven entered into eternal
rest on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Earnest, affectionately known as Sam, was
born on June 18, 1941 in Camden, South Carolina, to the late Sam and Minnie
Drakeford Belton; Cherished father of Val-Jean Belton (Cedric
Robinson)Hamden; Husband of Stella
Strother Belton of New Haven; Survived by 4 sisters, 1 brother, 2
granddaughters, 2 step children, and 1 step grandson; Predeceased by 3
brothers.
